Kami Punya Cerita is a photo story class that began in July 2011 at Tobucil and Klabs in Bandung. The initial idea of this class was to create a space for discussion and learning about photography in a broader way, without genre limitation. There is no longer any discussion about the type of camera used, but rather about how one interprets photography personally. Participants in this class will create a photo story project over the course of eight meetings.

Kami Punya Cerita has published two editions of books (2013 & 2015) containing a collection of works by participants. Each book edition is created in the spirit of Do It Yourself. The book was created as a gift for friends who had already joined Kami Punya Cerita. Furthermore, the presence of this book is expected to be enjoyed by a broader audience.
