Tembus zine is a companion publication to Masa Subur's (Fertile Period) Residency Artist Presentation #1: AWEWE. This zine tells stories about the participants' processes, questions and answers with one another, their profiles, and writings about the program. Masa Subur (Fertile Period) is a residency program initiated by Omnispace. Masa Subur aims to facilitate female artists to engage in intensive dialogue about their critical thinking about art making with the various contexts that accompany them, and to experiment in searching for fresh art practice forms. The program is expected to be an alternative way that can bring female artists with new field appreciation opportunities or as a catalyst for the emergence of a new generation of female artists in Bandung with a new art making consciousness.
